Recipient Job Bank

The Job Bank is closed until further notice.

In addition to our traditional provider referral process by which PASC-approved IHSS consumers can call the Registry and request a provider referral list, we are also offering an optional procedure through which consumers can go to our online provider listing and ask that a particular provider(s) be referred.

If you are an IHSS recipient and you are in need of a provider, please read the following information carefully. The recipient online provider referral service consists of a list of IHSS Ready-to-Work (“RTW”) providers who are currently available and looking for work. Ready-to-Work means that the provider has passed the criminal background check required by the state to become an IHSS worker, and has completed the County orientation. If you are interested in setting up an interview with any of the providers listed, please fill out the form below or send an email to ihssjbank@pascla.org, with the ID Number of the provider in which you are interested. You must include your full name, your email address, and your telephone number. PASC will either send you via email the contact information of the particular provider(s) in which you are interested or call you with their contact information.

Once given the contact information of the provider(s), it will be your responsibility as the recipient to make contact with the provider for further information and set up a job interview. If you require assistance and would like PASC to contact the provider(s) on your behalf, please make a note in the “comments” section of the form. Please allow 72 hours from the time the job bank closes to receive a response.

The Job Bank listings will be posted every Monday at 12pm and closes on Wednesday at 12pm.

In order to participate, you must meet the following requirements:

  1.  Be currently eligible to receive IHSS services in Los Angeles County;
  2.  Be a PASC Registry-approved recipient or be willing to sign up as one; and
  3.  Be willing to contact the provider(s) and further discuss your service and scheduling needs with the applicants

Please read and follow these instructions:
Look at the provider’s availability, the city in which they reside, and any specifics listed. Be sure they meet your minimum requirements. Also, note the following:

    • Providers listed may not be available by the time we respond to your inquiries
    • Inquiries will be responded to in the order received and as time permits
    • When looking at the schedule section, please note these abbreviations:

M = Monday, T = Tuesday, W = Wednesday, TH = Thursday, F = Friday
SA = Saturday, SU = Sunday / AM = Morning PM = Afternoon and Evening

Do not contact the PASC Registry; they are unable to assist with the Job Bank. The Job Bank is only available online, and all inquiries should be directed to ihssjbank@pascla.org.

While viewing the Job Bank, please write down the Job ID number(s) you are interested in. Fill in and submit the form below with the Job ID#, your First and Last Name & your phone number, and email address so we may contact you with the requested information.

Click on the 1st letter of the city that you would like to see providers from. For instance, if you wanted to see providers in Pasadena you would click on the M-P. This is for recipients looking for a provider. Starting July 1st, 2019 a maximum of 5 referrals per person.

If you are in need of a provider and can not wait for the job bank to re-open, contact the PASC registry at 877-565-4477.

VERY IMPORTANT: In terms of hiring and firing, PASC is not the employer of IHSS providers; the IHSS consumer is. As a result, PASC has no authority to decide or tell consumers who to hire.
