AB 1924 (Strickland) – IHSS Fraud Investigations

This bill would delete an existing $500 limitation placed on a county's authority to investigate suspected fraud when the provision or receipt of overpayments is $500 or less.

Status: This bill was introduced in the Assembly on February 16, 2010. However, it did not pass out of the Assembly Human Services Committee before the May 7, 2010 deadline. No further action will be taken on AB 1924 unless special permission is granted, or it is amended so that it would not impact state spending.
