SB 886 (Florez) – IHSS: E-Timekeeping

This bill would allow IHSS providers to use electronic timekeeping (i.e., via telephone or internet) for purposes of verifying hours worked and ensuring quality homecare for consumers.

Status: This bill was passed by the Senate on April 22nd, and passed by the Assembly Human Services Committee on June 15th. However, it was not voted on by the full Assembly before the adjournment of the 2010 legislative session. No further action can be taken on this bill.
